Early symptoms that, in hindsight, pointed to Parkinson\u2019s may include feeling tired or weak, difficulty writing (a smaller and less clear handwriting), a tremor in the arm, or a foot that suddenly \u2018freezes\u2019.<\/p><p data-start=\"416\" data-end=\"672\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The progression of the disease\u2014both in speed and in symptoms\u2014varies from person to person. With the right treatment, which is adjusted over the years, symptoms can often be managed reasonably well. gait, unsteadiness, loss of balance\/falls, difficulty getting up from a chair or bed, trouble writing, reduced facial expression (mask-like face).<\/li><li><strong>Mood-related symptoms: <\/strong>Depression, low mood, anxiety, lack of motivation, confusion.<\/li><li><strong>Behavioural symptoms: <\/strong>Forgetfulness (Parkinson\u2019s dementia), seeing or hearing things that aren\u2019t there (hallucinations), impulsive behaviour such as excessive eating, shopping, gambling, or sexual activity.<\/li><li><strong>Physical symptoms: <\/strong>Choking, drooling, weight loss, constipation, bladder problems, erectile dysfunction, excessive sweating, reduced sense of smell, dizziness, difficulty speaking clearly.<\/li><li><strong>Sleep-related symptoms: <\/strong>Drowsiness
