Legacy

Would you like to help the ParkinsonFonds with your legacy by including us in your will? We find this truly special and are deeply grateful to you.

A large part of our studies is made possible each year thanks to legacies. Without this support, our work would not be possible, legacies are vital for Parkinson’s research.

This is how you can include us as a beneficiary through a notary:

  • Heir
If you name the ParkinsonFonds as (co-)heir, the Fund is entitled to the estate together with your other heirs.
  • Legacy
If you do not name the ParkinsonFonds as an heir but state in your will that the Fund is entitled to a sum of money or a legacy, then the ParkinsonFonds becomes a legatee. With a legacy, you specify that you wish to leave us a certain sum of money or goods.

Your legacy can be easily arranged through a notary. And since 1 January 2006, leaving a gift to a charity has been fiscally advantageous, as all charities have since been exempt from inheritance tax.
